My Florence Bucket List

It is a month from today that I will be leaving for the biggest adventure of a lifetime. A month from today I will be on a overnight flight and when I wake up I won't be in the United States anymore. When I open my eyes a whole new culture will appear in front of me. Once I get to Florence I have a whole new city  to explore and learn. I have been heavily researching Florence and there are so many different spots for art nerds like me. There are so many spots that I want to experience during my four months in Florence. I thought it would be fun to share with you all what I hope to see and do during my time in Florence. I will try and update the list and write posts when accomplish something but we shall see how that goal goes (haha).

Music Picks of the Week

As I continue writing you will find out that I love music, I mean who doesn't? I am kind of nerdy when it comes to music though I read music blogs and Rolling Stone almost on the daily I am constantly trying to find new music and sounds. I thought it would be a fun idea at the end of every week to write about what songs I listened to throughout the week and highlight some standout releases from Friday. This week in music was a monumental one in my eyes some of my favorite artists that I had not heard from in a few years released new music. I was just a tad bit excited.. whoops.

My first pick of the week was Lorde's new album Melodrama I REPEAT LORDE'S NEW ALBUM! I love Lorde, Pure Heroine is still an album that I listen to quite frequently. This album is nothing close to a disappointment, it was all that I had expected it to be, great lyrics, great music and lets be real a great voice.

Green Light- Yes,  I had to include this it was the first single off the album and it is still a jam.  I turn it on while doing my makeup and just dance around.
Perfect Places- This is another get up and dance song. The beat and lyrics just make you happy.
Liability- This is one of the slower songs featured on the album. It is not too slow but the effect of the song is emotional but not too much.

I'M BACK

Hey guys long time no see! As you can see this is a completely fresh start for me. My blog posts from freshman year are gone and it is in with the new! This time I promise that I will actually stick with it. I guess it is time to inform you of where I am at in life since well you have not heard from since last spring. It is officially summer break and I am officially a junior in college. This year has brought about so many eye opening experiences and opportunities have arisen. Since last spring I have been writing for CollegeFashionista and have had the opportunity to become a social media and PR intern for a Washington, D.C. based designer. As for school with some help from my classmates and Marymount's fashion program I have found what I am passionate about, that being PR and visual merchandising. My has not changed I still strive to work at the Anthropologie headquarters. I think the biggest opportunity of all that came about this year was the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy this coming fall. That is also another reason why I started up the blog once again because I hope to keep up with writing while being abroad to share and document my time over there.
